Membership begins at the local builders association (there are currently 24 across Wisconsin affiliated with the Wisconsin Builders Association). Businesses that join a local association automatically gain membership to the Wisconsin Builders Association (WBA) and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).

WBA represents the interests of the home building industry in Wisconsin to the state legislature and regulatory agencies. WBA also offers educational programs, networking events and a variety of recognition and leadership development opportunities.
