Eligibility

• Entrant must be a member of the Wisconsin Builders Association. If applicable, project must have been completed between January 1, 2021 - December 31, 2022. Projects must be submitted by February 1, 2023.

• Winning submissions cannot be entered in back-to-back years

JUDGING CRITERIA

Entries will be judged on the following:

• Home Technology: variety of features, ease of use/accessibility, quality

• Interior Design: overall design, attention to detail, use of materials, cost/value relationship, creativity, functionality

• Landscape/Outdoor Living: overall design, attention to detail, use of materials, cost/value relationship, creativity, functionality

• Website: creativity, content, innovation, impact to target market and objectives, visual design, copywriting, and use of medium.

• Home Financing: ability to overcome financing obstacles for first-time homebuyers, creative financing programs, programs specific to low-income/affordable housing, credit ratings, down payment requirements

• Energy Efficiency: variety of energy efficiency features, average cost savings, community involvement

• Home Sales Force: selling techniques, philosophies, homebuilding industry and community involvement, and sales results (must have licensed realtor on staff)

• Best Business Support: content, overall message, best use of medium, visual design, use of graphics, purpose of program, response rate, and level of interaction by target audience. Business support must be for housing industry program.
