  • Best New Home Under $350,000

  • Best New Home $350,001 - $500,000

  • Best New Home $500,001 - $750,000

  • Best New Home $750,000 - $1.25 Million

  • Best New Home $1.25 Million - $2.25 Million

  • Best New Home Over $2.25 Million

  • Best New Multi-Family Unit under $300,000

  • Best New Multi-Family Unit $300,001 - $500,000

  • Best New Multi-Family Unit over $500,000

Eligibility

  • Entrant must be a member of the Wisconsin Builders Association and hold a Wisconsin Dwelling Contractor Qualifier license. The project must have been completed between January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2022. Final completed price not including lot will determine the category of single-family home. Price of single unit will determine the category for multi-family projects. New homes can include custom or spec houses; multi-family: owner occupied. Multi-family projects can consist of two or more units. Projects due by February 1, 2023.

  • Winning projects from previous year cannot be resubmitted

JUDGING CRITERIA

Entries will be judged on the following:

  • Design

  • Quality of construction

  • Attention to detail

  • Use of materials

  • Price to value

  • Functionality

  • Creativity

Required Materials

  • Project description of no more than 175 words which includes final cost, material types, and any other pertinent information. Voters will see this description at the time of voting and will be used to highlight winning projects. Can be submitted as a word-doc or pdf.

  • No more than ten high quality photos

  • One high quality company logo

  • Submission Agreement (owner/occupant included, if necessary)

  • $75.00 submission fee

Required materials can be submitted at time of check out by attaching the required document or entering a link to a file-sharing platform such as dropbox or google drive.
