PROJECT OVERVIEW: The homeowners had a deck that was underutilized due to harsh southern exposure and bugs in the summer. The constant sun was a deterrent from enjoying the deck in summer months. Extending the roofline to provide a shaded area eliminated this issue without removing the luxury of an adjacent uncovered deck used for grilling. With their home located on one of the fairways of the local golf course, it was important that whatever structure was created, that it minimized any obstructions from their picturesque views. The wide expanse screen system gives the lavishness of a bug free environment while enabling a stunning unobstructed view to the outdoors that was so important to the homeowners. New finishes throughout included a low maintenance composite decking, aluminum railing, and trim. The interior has a rustic feel with stained tongue and groove cedar installed on the gable wall and ceiling. This 156 sqft sunroom addition and deck replacement totaled just over $70,000.00 and provided the homeowners with a much needed outside oasis!
