Wisconsin Builders Association Names Builder of the Year
Awards also given to Hall of Fame, Associate of the Year, and Rising Star Recipients
February 8, 2024 - Members of the Wisconsin Builders Association (WBA) gathered Friday at Renaissance Milwaukee West Hotel in Wauwatosa where WBA presented the Builder of the Year Award along with awards for the Hall of Fame, Rising Star, and Associate of the Year. The group also installed their 2024 leadership team, led by Jim Doering of Zilber Ltd./Homes by Towne.
“Homebuilding continues to be a thriving industry in Wisconsin, and we are grateful for all our members across the state who continue to advance the desire of homeownership across our state,” said WBA President Jim Doering. “This year’s award recipients have broken barriers in the industry and have proven themselves to be leaders thanks to their work in their businesses, communities, and our association.”
Candidates for the awards were nominated by their local builders association and voted on by the WBA awards committee. The Builder of the Year and Associate of the Year awards are the highest honor a builder member and associate member can attain, respectively. The Hall of Fame award is given to someone who has been a member for at least 20 consecutive years and winners of the Rising Star award have actively worked towards the betterment of the housing industry. All winners must be active within their local association as well as the WBA, National Association of Home Builders, and their community.
