Wisconsin Builders Association Installs Leadership Team, Presents Awards

February 17, 2025 - Members of the Wisconsin Builders Association (WBA) gathered Friday, January 31 in River Falls where WBA installed their 2025 leadership team led by Michael Derrick of Derrick Building Solutions (New Richmond, WI), and presented awards for Builder of the Year, Associate of the Year, Rising Star, and Hall of Fame.

“Homebuilding remains a strong and vital industry in Wisconsin, and we deeply appreciate our members across the state who are dedicated to expanding homeownership opportunities,” said WBA President Mike Derrick. “This year’s award recipients have set new standards in the industry, demonstrating exceptional leadership through their contributions to their businesses, communities, and our association.”

Award candidates were nominated by their local builders association and selected by the WBA awards committee. The Builder of the Year and Associate of the Year awards represent the highest honors a builder and associate member can achieve. The Hall of Fame award recognizes individuals with at least 20 consecutive years of membership, while the Rising Star award honors those who have made significant contributions to advancing the housing industry. All recipients are actively engaged in their local associations, the WBA, the National Association of Home Builders, and their communities.
